07/25/2010 17:08
What a goal by Richards!

07/24/2010 22:12
oh I'd keep it grandpappy - it looks like Popovich was coach until 1799 <<<<<<<

07/24/2010 22:03
well at least Rochester isn't alone

07/24/2010 20:26
What happened in PR? Looks like 20 fans at the game tonight.

07/24/2010 12:12
Steele said that he hated it in Vancouver and that he wanted out of there.

07/23/2010 02:19
Grandpappy sounds funnier...

Actually, any small pocket sized radio (even one not made by Sony) would be a rarity these days. If you find a supplier for those, I'll be impressed!

Thanks, Rob.

I would be willing to pay a fee to get access to video of Rhinos games. I live outside NYC and have made it to 3 Rhinos games over the past few seasons but it is not practical to attend more games. I subscribed to USL Live the first year when there was a fee. This service would be much appreciated.

I would also be willing to subscribe to a service that would provide a video feed for games. I've used USLLive to watch most of the games I didn't attend or weren't on TV over the past couple of seasons.

don't all those tiny little mp3 players that are $9.99 on TigerDirect have FM tuners? I think if you bought 100 or more you could pay $5 or less.

Yea, I have a couple of MP3 players with FM tuners in them at home (used to have a bunch that I sold on Ebay). There are 1 and 2 gb players like that around that can be picked up in bulk cheap. I was thinking more along the lines of a 'walkman' style pocket radio as Rob mentioned that's strictly a radio and simple enough for anyone to use. The fan base does come in all different age groups, and I can't picture handing a senior citizen season ticket holder an MP3 player with a tuner!

Although handing a younger person a radio with old fashioned dials on it might elicit some strange reactions too! Smile

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MARCH 3, 2010

RHINOS OPEN TRAINING CAMP MARCH 8TH AT MARINA AUTO STADIUM

First preseason match – Saturday, March 13th

The Rochester Rhinos open their 2010 training camp on Monday, March 8 with a practice at Marina Auto Stadium set for a 10:00am start. The fifteen members of the Rhinos current roster plus twenty invited players will be taking the pitch in the first practice of the 2010 season. Following practice General Manager Pat Ercoli, Head Coach Bob Lilley and Assistant Coach Bill Sedgewick will be available for the media.

“After a very busy off-season it is exciting to have training camp right around the corner”, says Rhinos head coach Bob Lilley. “We have been diligent in our player selection process and are anxious to get started in shaping our team.”

Training continues the week of March 8th at Marina Auto Stadium starting at 10:00am each day. A complete roster of current players and invited players will be released Thursday afternoon.

“We also have a strong group of trialists that will enable us to round out our roster”, said Lilley. “Although there is much work in front of us, the foundation is being laid for an excellent squad with a dynamic future.”

On Saturday March 13th, Rhinos head coach Bob Lilley is expected to field a mixed roster of Rhinos and invited players as the Rhinos take on the Senegal Soccer Club at 12pm (Noon) in their first pre-season game of 2010. The Senegal Soccer Club is made up of African born soccer players looking to showcase their talents and earn a professional soccer contract. Admission to all Rhinos pre-season matches at Marina Auto Stadium is free and gates will open an hour prior to kickoff. Season ticket representatives will be on hand to show seats and take season ticket deposits.

The Rhinos will begin their 15th season on the road in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday, April 10th, as they take on the Miami FC Blues at Lockhart Stadium. Rochester opens its 2010 home slate at Marina Auto Stadium on Saturday, May 1st, against Carolina.

Great stuff! looking forward to coming out and checking out the team and potential players. Speaking of, can we get a list of the twenty invited players?

That list was planned to be released sometime today from an email I received a few days ago about the news that the club planned to roll out this week.
Feel the kick!

Is this game still happening? It's not mentioned in the press release on the Rhinos' website.

Eh, he lives in Scotland, fuck him. If he lived in England I'd be jealous, at least pick a good part of the United Kingdom.

Just kidding around, these message boards are too nice. I thought the whole point of online message boards was to bash people anonymously?

Didn't sound too bad until you called me a prickbag. I sorta liked the idea of a 15 hooker gang bang covered in peanut butter, but the prickbag just hurt my feelings, haha.

Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Heaven God went missing for six days.

Eventually, Archangel Michael found him on the seventh day resting.

He inquired of God, ‘Where have you been?’

God pointed downwards through the clouds. Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, ‘What is it?’

‘It’s a planet,’ replied God, ‘and I’ve put LIFE on it. I’m going to call it Earth and it’s going to be a great place of balance.’

‘Balance?’ inquired Michael, still confused.

God explained, pointing down to different parts of the Earth.

‘For example, North America will be a place of great opportunity and wealth, while South America is going to be poor; the Middle East over there will be a hot spot, and Russia will be a cold spot. Over there I’ve placed a continent of white people and over there is a continent of black people.’

God continued, pointing to the different countries.

This one will be extremely hot and arid while this one will be very cold and covered in ice.’

The Archangel , impressed by God’s work, then pointed to another area of land and asked, ‘What’s that?’

‘Ah,’ said God. That’s Scotland …., the most glorious place on earth. There are beautiful people, and many impressive cities; it is the home of the world’s finest artists, musicians, writers, thinkers, explorers, sportsmen and politicians. The people from Scotland are going to be modest, intelligent and humorous and they’re going to be found travelling the world. They’ll be extremely sociable, hard-working and high-achieving, and they will be known throughout the world as speakers of truth.’

Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then proclaimed, ‘What about balance, God, you said there will be BALANCE!’

God replied very wisely, ‘Ha, wait till you see the bunch of tossers I’m putting south of the border…..!!!!!”

Hmm.... i remember this tale going somewhat differently lol

‘Ah,’ said God. That’s Scotland …., the oddest place on earth. There are people that like to shag sheep, so i have placed them in Scotland.

Yea it didn't mention all the other good stuff lol
