It was Kissi.

I saw the first part and the team looked good. Spicer scored an excellent goal. There was also a good header in the box by, I think, Kissi.

A team sport? If by that u mean a few guys may never touch the ball during the ENTIRE game then YES, it is a team game.

I have a hard time watching the LLWS too. When I was a kid I used to love watching it, but it's hard to relate to it now since I'm 10 years older than the kids playing.

68th Minute, Franks deflected one in off Matt Bobo's head! Not sure if was officially ruled an own goal or not.

All in all, a good road trip. We're only two points away from the best record in the league. Go Rhinos! They can be inconsitent but this is a good team.

Well.... two points... and 3 Austin losses!

But yes, they're getting it done.
However, he needs to start finding his playoff roster.......

I think that we'll see a more set lineup now that this crazy road trip is over. It's got to be hard for the coaching staff bringing in new players after the season had already started.

It's strange, we're in 2nd place just behind the Aztecs so it must mean we have a solid team, right? Yet I can't get that excited about the team. Maybe it's just me but, there seems to be a lack of the kind of excitement we came to expect from Rhino teams. What made those teams of the past so great to watch and get excited about? I think some of it was they made themselves a team that never gave up and would come through in the clutch (thank you Doug Miller and friends)with some brilliant play.
I know from a fans point of view that FF was an easier place to meet with friends while watching the match. But, MAS is a better field and lighting along with being a better shaped stadium with better sight lines. So why has the gusto gone from my team, could it be a lack of quality players, I don't know but I do know that things will get better once we've gotten through and survived this slump. What do you guys think?

I'll be quite pleased if that turns out to be our worst slump of the season.

How did they actually play there? How was the field set up? Before my time. I love MAS though. I think it's a great stadium, reasonable prices, and I love the Party Deck.

I enjoy watching this team, however I think the problem is that the team's too young. A lot are just out of college, basically no one returning from last year, we haven't related to these players yet.

The field was set up from the first base side to the left field side, and they set up bleachers in right field along the sideline.

...and the field was 60 yards wide....

...and that created the faster, more exciting play that some people are talking about...

MAS is over 80 yards wide. Plenty of space to pass: side, side, side,....back.... up, side, side, side,.... back....

And that's exactly what we get to see...

yea, he's probably just Bob's boy...

i really wish we signed Johnny Steele

Which i talked to someone that knows Steele in this area and apparently it was almost a done deal. Lilley just didn't want him..

Bob probably knows that the nightlife in Tampa is much more appealing than it is in Rochester.

Lilley said Steele wasn't shopped to the Rhinos, and frankly I'm more likely to believe that -- Vancouver isn't dumb, so they're not going to ship him to a team they could face come playoff time.

But, even if that was Lilley's actual take, it's hard to argue with it. Steele's inability to stick with any team despite decent production is telling enough -- he's on his sixth DII team....

That's not the story I heard.

I heard that the contract he got in Vancouver was about 1/3 or so of the entire Rhinos player budget for this season.
Feel the kick!

For life!!!!!!!!!!
