A team sport? If by that u mean a few guys may never touch the ball during the ENTIRE game then YES, it is a team game.

I have a hard time watching the LLWS too. When I was a kid I used to love watching it, but it's hard to relate to it now since I'm 10 years older than the kids playing.

I could barely watch the Little League game today.... Yawn... (and I can catch)

Exactly. It relies more heavily on individual skill than other sports do.

This may be the biggest upset ever in the CCL. Homestading LA is the top team in MLS and PR is in LAST place in the USL Conference.

The only goal by the Galaxy was an own goal and they played their starters. What a crazy sport soccer is. The Islanders beat the Galaxy and KC beats Man U.

I just don't think there are enough excuses out there for LA. USL teams pulling these upsets isn't new (especially Puerto Rico) which wipes out the "surprise" excuse, and LA's lineup wasn't terrible. If they didn't take it seriously, it would lead me to question their character or intelligence -- which I'm sure the 7,000 at the Home Depot Center did too. This was a CONCACAF game afterall, not some random friendly. (Sure, they figure they're a lock for the MLS Cup and a bid that way...)
